Meet Laura Iverson,
Founder & Creative Director of LID
Laura works with discerning homeowners who value thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship, and a seamless, well-managed process from start to finish. Her clients are often busy professionals, entrepreneurs, and families who appreciate beautiful, elevated interiors—but lack the time or desire to manage the complexity of a renovation or new build.
Professionally educated and trained as an interior designer, Laura brings a sophisticated and highly discerning eye to every project. She is deeply drawn to beauty, while equally valuing meaning, intention, and precision. Every detail matters. Her work is grounded in the belief that a home should not only look exceptional, but also support the way her clients live—effortlessly and authentically.
Every project begins with careful listening. She takes the time to understand how her clients live, what they value, and what truly matters to them, translating those insights into spaces that are timeless, beautiful and highly functional.
Often described as a “secret weapon” by clients and industry partners, Laura brings rare dual fluency to every project: she designs with creativity and intention while simultaneously anticipating the needs of architects, builders, and trade professionals. This allows her to lead projects from concept through completion with clarity, precision, and confidence. For her clients, this means fewer surprises, smoother execution, and the peace of mind that every detail is being thoughtfully managed.
Laura holds degrees from the New York School of Interior Design and the University of Colorado at Boulder, along with a Certificate in Construction Management from Colorado State University. Her work has been featured in LUXE Interiors & Design, Colorado Homes & Lifestyles, and The Scout Guide, with projects located in iconic markets from New York to the Mountain West.
She is a member of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art, an award recipient from the American Society of Interior Designers, an Architectural Digest preferred partner, and a professional contributor to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
When she’s not in the studio, Laura can be found adventuring with her two sons and English Cream Golden—skiing in Jackson Hole, traveling, hiking and fly fishing in the mountain west.
